National Current Events League:
Looking to continue your students' passion about current events? Build their critical thinking? Elevate their pride and sense of accomplishment? Then join the National Current Events League where each of four Meets during the school year contains questions from general news, arts and entertainment, science and health, business and sports. Enroll in CML's National Current Events League and discover how such a simple, inexpensive tool can energize your students' interest in current events. For 25 years, students all over the U.S. have enjoyed participating in CML's leagues - each carefully designed by veteran educators to build enthusiasm for learning without the pressure of competition. The National Current Events League offers contests for 4th grade through 12th grade.
A fee of $70 entitles your school to register one team, and the fee for each additional team is $45. Awards include 10 certificates and one medal per team. There are also individual and team awards on the national level.
